A Child's Prayer
Last night as I was getting the kids ready for bed I reminded Alex that he still needed to brush his teeth and say his prayer.
Adam said, "I want to pray."
He ran over to the and faced the wall and folded his arms. (Yes, we're still working on the kneeling thing...)
His prayer went something like this.
Heavenly Father,
I dink water.
I bush my teef.
Jesus Christ, Amen.
Mary and I got a good chuckle out of it.
On a side note, he does not pronounce Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ perfectly. I just feel weird misspelling them on purpose...
On a not so adorable note. After I got the kids to bed I came down to my office to finish off my work for the night. Right in the middle of my typing a huge spider (no, not a tarantula but still large) suddenly dropped right onto the desk in front of me. After I recovered from the shock I grabbed my shoe and smashed him and then flushed him. I do not participate in the spider relocation program. I might do that for a ladybug, but they seem to know their place and stay outside.
